Yoga is not just poses set down in a particular style. Yoga is a life style. Vinyasa teaches us to be aware that one action leads to the next both in our practice and in our lives. We will explore how the breath initiates and moves energy, and how we can consciously direct it to aid us as we move through space together.
About the Instructor: Stephen wears two hats, one as a yoga instructor, and the other as a musician. His primary training was in ballet with the Pennsylvania Ballet Company and the Julliard School. He is a veteran of four Broadway musicals as a performer, and three as a musical director. He is currently the music supervisor for Days of Our Lives, for which he has received ten nominations and three Emmys for outstanding musical direction and supervision. He has been practicing yoga for twenty years both in Los Angeles and in Louisville. He received his RYT 200 hour certification from Yoga Alliance two years ago. He is currently on staff at Yoga Integrated Science, where he received his certification training from owner and principal instructor, Lauren Eirk.
