Shannon Savage is an urban homesteader, consultant and educator who believes that, “You don’t have to leave the city to create and change the way you live”. After purchasing a newly remodeled home in downtown New Albany, she began the process of transforming an empty yard into an urban oasis. Focusing on small scale livestock, she raises chickens and practices raised bed and container gardening with an emphasis on utilizing vertical space and water conservation. She holds a degree in Marketing and Herbalism. She has provided her clients with herbal medicine for over two decades.
