Gratitude Rocks!

  • Highlands Market 3046 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY, 40205 United States (map)

Saying ‘thank you’ seems so simple and is often easily dismissed because it is something we do everyday. But the truth is Americans are out of practice when it comes to truly giving thanks. Our lives have become more complicated than ever. As we come out of the holiday whirlwind and face the new year that holds so much potential, we look inward and reflect on what we want to create more of in our lives and what we want to leave behind.

Discover how a daily gratitude practice can help you create more balance, an increased sense of wellbeing, less stress and anxiety and overall greater life satisfaction in 2017. Learn why positive psychology researchers have been wildly focused on happiness over the last ten years and how developing effortless habits can transform your life.

Join us for this inspiring workshop led by Sarah Balmer, Registered Yoga Teacher and Holistic Health Coach, who will present compelling research to fuel your gratitude practice. Connect with a community of like-minded people through a guided gratitude meditation and discussion. Exercise your creativity by painting your own gratitude rock, which will serve as inspiration for your practice. The gratitude rock helps you establish a habitual practice by sitting it some place where you will see it each day, serving as a reminder to list 1-3 things for which you are grateful.

Instruction and materials will be provided. No creativity is required. In fact, if you just thought, “but I’m not creative at all,” then this workshop is for you! There will be a thread of creative discussion as we explore this aspect of self through the activity. If you are ready to create more contentedness, ease and abundance in your life, you won’t want to miss this event. Come with an open heart and an open mind. …because the worlds
