A Taste of Yoga: Vinyasa

Whether you’re a new student or a lifelong practitioner, this class is for you! Open to all levels, this vinyasa yoga class is recommended for anyone looking to focus on the foundation, structure and alignment of each posture. Throughout this practice, you will focus on engaging your core muscles to go deeper into each pose and prepare your mind and body for a challenging peak posture. (Newbies and seasoned yogis welcome)

Instructor Bio: Karina first got into yoga in college when she took a yoga class as an elective. She then started to take the free classes at the gym and was soon hooked. As an Exercise Science major, she began to do research on the physiological benefits of yoga and quickly realized, through research and her own personal practice, that yoga improves just about every function of the body, mentally AND physically.
Karina graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and soon after completed her 200HR RYT training through Yoga Renew. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and teaches group strength classes at a sports performance gym in Louisville. Karina specializes in Vinyasa flows that are a balance between strength and recovery. She loves to incorporate her anatomical and physiological knowledge into her practice. More than anything, she strives to create a down to earth and authentic space for her and her students to be themselves and have fun doing yoga.
