Spicy Virgin Margarita

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz water or Topo Chico sparkling water

1/2 oz orange juice (For a tart and complex astringency similar to triple sec, use blood oranges. For a sweeter mocktail use navel or cara cara oranges.)

1 oz lime juice

3/4 oz agave syrup

2-3 drops of your favorite hot sauce (optional)

1 dropper of All the Bitters Orange Bitters (optional)

Tajin spice to rim the glass

Sliced fresh jalapeno for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Run a lime wedge along the rim of your glass, then dip the glass at an angle into Tajin to get a nice flavorful ring on the rim.

2. Combine the orange juice, lime juice, agave syrup, hot sauce and bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. If using still water add it into the shaker.

3. Strain into your rimmed glass over ice. If using sparking water, pour in the juice then top with Topo Chico.

4. Garnish with a wedge of lime, a thin slice of orange and maybe some thinly sliced jalapeno.
