Are painful, restricted hips getting in the way of your runs? Do your tight shoulders make you wish for a daily massage? Do your toes or arches cramp after a day on your feet? Do you feel like you just can't get your hamstrings to release any further in yoga? Come to this workshop on targeted myofascial release and in just an hour and fifteen minutes you'll have all the tools you need to break through bad holding patterns, improve your flexibility, and feel nice and relaxed - including your very own rolling-out ball. We'll cover easy techniques that you will be able to do on your own, and teach others to do as well. Workshop cost is $20 (ball included). Please wear relatively form fitting, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga or Pilates mat.
The workshop is taught by certified Pilates mat instructor Laura Z. Weldon. Laura is also a health coach and a post-bac pre-med student at the University of Louisville. After this class, you'll find yourself keeping your ball in your purse or briefcase - Laura never leaves home without one!
