Spring into a Vibrant Lifestyle: Simple Steps to Transition to a Vegan Diet

Come join the Louisville Veggie Meetup Group for a vegan potluck featuring education, food and fun! Explore the benefits of a plant-based, whole foods diet and meet other people who share your interest in healthy living. 

The meal is a potluck-style vegan buffet. Please bring a 100% vegan (no animal ingredients such as dairy or eggs) entree, salad, side or dessert to share (serving size to feed 8-10), as well as your own serving utensils, plate, and drink.  We welcome both cooked and raw vegan cuisine, homemade or store-bought. For those of you who won't have time to cook, you can easily purchase a vegan product from Rainbow Blossom for the potluck.

Our featured speaker, Kay Sanders, is a Master Vegan Lifestyle Coach certified through the Main Street Vegan Academy. Kay has been a social worker for 28 years, and currently works at a local hospital. Yet while she loves being a social worker, her other passions include yoga, wellness - particularly related to nutrition - and she loves every aspect of vegan living. Kay completed her 200 hour of teacher training at Yoga East, as well as a training in Chair Yoga, and is a Rest and Renew® trainer through Judith Lasater. Her regular yoga practice is Ashtanga yoga. She is a Master Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator through the Main Street Vegan Academy, and loves trying new vegan recipes, Vegfests, learning about new vegan products and companies, as well as sharing about the benefits of choosing a whole food, plant based diet, and a vegan lifestyle.
