How to Ferment Vegetables

Interested in learning more about fermenting vegetables or the process of lacto-fermentation? Avalon Gupta VerWiebe, with the U of L Garden Commons, will be giving a sauerkraut demo and bringing some samples of other types of fermented food. Bring your own wide mouth jar to follow along - we will be supplying the cabbage! The $10 fee covers your own "airlock" for fermenting foods on your own; please bring a wide mouth quart size jar so you can bring some kraut home with you.
